A season to/of harvest, where traditionally our ancestors gathered together their efforts of harvest/tears of joy and celebrated by sharing them /caring for each other. Refreshed again, during this festive season called Onam. When after all, life in its totality is a symbiotic relationship of giving and taking. Reminded today, to probe deeper of how/why do we put in efforts, to give / take back and in what measures? It's worth pondering/reflecting back, within this era of plentiful/technological boom. Are we at peace within self/offer the same to our acquaintances and help create a sane environment to our next generation personally/ethically?
A fb post read.. 'Be a reflection of what you'd like to see in others. If you want love, give love. If you want honesty, give honestly, if you want respect, give respect. You get in return, what you give.' After going through these well stitched words, is it a theoretical / practical statement to be given out, expecting something back in equal measures? Not necessarily to be received back in equal measures. It's a self refining/polishing process to be understood/undertaken both unconditionally/non-judgmentally, for the sake of once abstract dynamic conscious/humanity at large. Practically possible when the environment is tuned to be just/fare.
This Onam season, is very special to me in many ways, to have witnessed individuals and associations creating awareness about people in need, by trying to reach out and give a helping hand to people afflicted by natural disasters / devastating ailments. To have otherwise gathered together, make/display some creative vocals/artistic visuals and later get back into once shell as the sun dusk. Which I personally enjoy and cherish and believe is very vital/essential to be engaged together 'both' artistically/constructively.. after all, we are social creatures. Was inspired enough, to comment under a post..'The first Onam celebration, with a worthy cause being highLighted in my lifeTime. May be, it took a virus to get us to this focUs. Best wishes, as always'. As a glass of water, very often come nourishing for many deserving needy, at an opportune moment/point in time'. Thus could/would focus then mean.. 'Force on conscious understanding/undertaking situations'. Onam thus has two dimensions. Abstractly, honoring/reenforcing the virtue of righteousness/justice, supposedly to have been delivered once upon a time by a mythical ruler named Mahabali. Tangibly, to be responsible nourishing/celebrating together, once cultivated abundance/culture.

How will the current majority parrot trained/ADD pill driven generation, compete/survive with these chip driven, pig era, of give and take model structure? Do we now have to implant chips to survive, to behave as humanly/sanely as possible or modify how we do commerce/economics both locally/globally at length? In short, at what point in time do we have to learn to relax / be more responsible to our earth/ourselves by eventually unlearning/relearning our history/present for our futurE
