To forgive, there has to be two basic ingredients, a cause / a beneficiary. Most of the parents / traders like their children/clients. What is so unusual about this symbiotic relationship? After all, we all want to be happily acknowledged, which is being governed by the law of giving/taking. Where does the question of forgiving/forgiveness come then? There is a saying, practice to forgive/pray for your enemies. Which is the only underlining principle, within the spirituality rheme of the liberation theory. A red hot coal, will warm / mold its container based on the duration of its exposure. How to perceive/utelis its warmth, is left to once evolved understanding/undertaking.
Posting within, a link from the social media on forgiveness, based on a question/answer session with a revered mystic guru:
Forgiveness is not forgetting! God is always with the 'virtuous' minority, not necessarily with the most accomplished/powerful/resourced/smartest which is the simple lesson, from the greatest of all epics 'The Mahabharata'. A Vaishya/Kshatriya/Shudra/Brahmin will reap from the karma/seeds of how they undertook/understood their given/chosen vocations in life honestly/unconditionally. Lord Krishna, the supreme sustainer, demonstrated it with his own life, when ending his journey/mission by gracefully taking a hunters arrow. He tells the regretting hunter, there is nothing sentimental about this basic law/fact within this dimension of our being. The spiritual guru of the christians, within his only prescribed prayer stipulates firmly "forgive 'us' our sins as 'we' forgive". Which is being demonstrated/exemplified by himself, when on the cross, he said "forgive them, for they do not know what they are saying/doing."
To pick the right prudent judgement, one has to first know the role played by any vocations, which we all fall into by chance/choice. Analyse the pros/cons and then be sentimental/emotional on what it delivers/offers/deserves to forgive/pardon:

Many nationalists pride on their ancisterial contributions/developments. Its prudent to acknowledge/honor..then what? Where are we today to match their leads? What is our contribution to our evolved humanity/life in its totality today?
