'Penny wise but pound foolish/stupid'....the current affairs legacy / story of the majority crazy/illegal petty slum dog petrol smugglers, illegally bringing petrol from Nepal without paying duty/taxes into mighty India. Is it not worth a dip/talk! The primitive primary objectives political-'motivating'/economics-'venture' of giving/taking....we give you gold, give us back diamond in return.. is the Government's understanding/undertaking. The promoted/glorified/ironical, Indian version of the classical Robin Hood effect/tale- the middle class squeezed, to eventually suck the blood out from the major majority disposable/expendable majority pawns. Give subsidies at one end, and extract out double from the other hand and expect double digit economic growth. Eg:Give free/subsidized LPG to the poor and from the same demographic class, charge/extract out double fold for the diesel/petrol needed to fulfill their 'daily' works/obligations. Who is the smart chess player/business man? After all when needs/wants are some what fulfilled for a particular segment of the demographics, at someones misery/cost. Then the demand for pride/ego erupts out....which becomes mainstream/relevant to stimulate productively/motivating factor thereafter. Maslow theory, does not disappoint us here. What about 'quality'/'decent' universal-for all as democracy is by/for everybody, social security / safety net schemes for all-top/bottom. Did these glamorous stars actually not venture out/get educated/exposure out of their own well....or are they enjoying this classic game of chess. Oh!people love dramas/reality shows....so shower them with variety platter options of the same. Sorry again for the disappointment/ignorance of not knowing what is optimal/appropriate.
